Making a Difference in My Patients’ Lives
Dentistry means the world to me! It is an honor to work in a field where I am able to fight the epidemic of poor oral health in the community. I feel I truly make a difference in the lives of every patient I encounter. I listen to them, learning their needs and desires, and strive to treat each person with the highest level of personalized care.
I love working with my patients. Each day I care for a diverse group of people, each with their own needs, concerns, and goals. We talk and laugh during their visits, forging friendships that mean the world to me.
Being able to change a person’s life, by helping them smile with confidence, relieving their dental pain, and restoring function, is an amazing gift. I’m a hardworking, kindhearted individual who focuses on caring for the person, not just treating their teeth. I cannot imagine being anything other than a dentist.
Education and Continuing Education
I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from MUSC College of Dental Medicine. That education provided me with an exceptional foundation in dentistry. But oral healthcare is a constantly evolving field. The changes in treatments, along with new technology and materials, all mean better care options and results for my patients.
By taking continuing dental education courses, I am able to remain at the forefront of developments in the field. My patients trust me to provide them with the best care and treatment available. Continuing education makes that possible.
I grew up in Holly Hill and now live in Charleston, with my spouse. We don’t have any children. When I’m not working, my priority is spending time with family and friends. I also love to travel.
